See “What Should I Write?” (click, left) to get some ideas of what to say. The book is in the works and promises to be a treasure trove of personal observations and recollections. We have a full weekend of activities planned, & more are being finalized. You can participate in all events or pick your favorite. If we have your current address, you should have received a "save the date" postcard last year & a reunion notice in January. If you didn't, go to the "Reply Now" page (click, upper left) to print a reply form. Even if you're not attending, we want your input for the memory book. Friday, July 25, 2008 -- No-host mixer, 6--10 pm, TraveLodge, similar to 2003. Mary Sowles Burchill, chairman.
Saturday, July 26 -- Casual poolside BBQ reunion dinner, Worthington Country Club. No-host cocktails, 5 pm; class photo 6 pm sharp; dinner starting about 6:30 pm. Judy Buntjer Powers, Linda Greven Paulsen & Jo Batcheller Cron, dinner chairmen; Rick & Nancy Habicht Ireland, program chairmen. Prizes & surprises! Senior class president Connie Hansberger Ruch presiding.
Sunday, July 27 -- Brunch & tours, 10 am--1 pm, historic Dayton House (known in our school days as Cashel's nursing home). Cheryl Wehr Heitkamp, chairman.
Sunday, July 27 -- After the Dayton House, caravan to Lake Okoboji for an afternoon cruise on the Queen II followed by an early dinner. More info soon on this website, or at the WHS '63 mixer at TraveLodge on Friday night, July 25.
